Abstract

The crystal structures of (η¹-Fluorenyl)Re(Co)₅ and (η⁵-Fluorenyl)Re(Co)₃ (2) are described and the thermal conversion of (1) to (2) in polymer matrices is demonstrated. The reverse reaction could not be effected in solid matrices.
