The presentation will discuss my thoughts on my career goals going in, comparing them to my goals coming out. The presentation will describe how my firsthand experience in the DC police department helped to change my view of local law enforcement as well as their role in society. In addition, the trip helped me realize that perception is not always truth on the ground when you get to see firsthand what goes on.
