Abstract
The Fraunhofer workshops are used to discover new designs and technology potentials. Requirements engineering is needed to explore new methods in the workshop that is the most effective. Thus, this research through requirements engineering is needed to create a timer application that is adapted to the specific needs of the workshops to uncover the maximum potential. First, it is necessary to discover the steps of creating a successful UI design that fits specific users. After learning the steps, the research requires collaboration with team members of the workshop to find their specific requirements. With the user requirements in hand, the app can be successfully created through code and testing. As a result, a simple timer app is created with a specific minimalistic flip animation. It also has the functions of changing the font, setting a warning alarm and adjusting countdown while running.
