The mission of the Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is to support Black faculty, students, and staff at Furman University (FU). The organization will accomplish this mission by serving as an advocate and support group for the concerns of Black faculty, staff, and students. Additionally, the BFSA seeks to enhance the recruitment, retention, and advancement of Black faculty, staff, and students as we seek to pursue the vision and mission of Furman University (FU).
