Description
In Brussels, I interned at the European Health Management Association (EHMA). In this brief presentation I plan to showcase the invaluable learning experience I was given through working in the policy capital of Europe. I will specifically discuss my attendance to health policy conferences, representing EHMA, and how through those experiences I gained an understanding of the European approach to healthcare and a comparative knowledge as I return to Furman and study the American healthcare system and the barriers to health our citizens face.
