Description

In this sports analytics project, an optimal schedule for the Valley Baseball League located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia is produced. All team specific requests, such as facility availability and requested road trips, in addition to league mandates, including travel limits and an equitable distribution of off-days, are included in the schedule. Furthermore, the single best revenue generating schedule is captured. Specialized software and modest hardware is used to output the schedule in less than a minute, saving dozens of hours of employee time.
