Description
Student will make short oral presentations summarizing their research projects in ENG 455, Interpretive Issues in Early Modern Literature. This section of the course is focused specifically on Shakespeare's Second Tetralogy: Richard II, Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2, and Henry V. Students will focus on the ways Shakespeare understood history, his strategies for writing it, and the impact of his historical works have had on modern understandings of historiography.
