Abstract
Engineer a knee sleeve (nylon and spandex combination) that will have electrotherapy capabilities. Creating this knee sleeve will make it more convenient for people with knee-injuries to do pre-rehabilitation and rehabilitation even when they are not at the physical therapists office or other rehabilitation location. Electrical stimulation patches will be attached onto the inside of the knee sleeve. The patches will be connected to a portable NMES unit. The sleeve will have a zipper incorporated for easier use getting it on and off. If possible, we will incorporate TENS capabilities around the knee for pain management in our prototypes.
