Abstract
The goal of this project is to design the best oral stimulation device; it needs to be rechargeable, freezable, and soft enough to be enjoyable. If a device is easier to use and charge, then more people will use it over other products on the market. The prototype will be designed on an engineering program and 3D printed. Molds of the mouthpiece will be taken, and a silicone mouthpiece will be created. Once the product is made, a survey will be sent to occupational therapists in Lexington Richland School District 5. They will rank the product and the Z-Vibe ( the most common device used) in different categories assessing the convenience and design. The scores of the devices will be compared, and the product with the highest score will be considered the best.
