Abstract
The research looks at established methods of an increase in exercise, low carb diet and drinking apple cider vinegar, on a type 2 diabetes patient. Type 2 diabetes affects 30 million Americans, in which this research hopes to identify a method that works best to help manage type 2 diabetes before its effects of heart disease, nerve damage, and many others take affect. Type 2 diabetes is when cells of the pancreas produce insulin but the body is unable to use it effectively, therefore spikes in sugar levels are very dangerous for patients as they cant control them. Previous research shows methods individually in showing them all having a positive impact. The low carb diet allow for the limited amount of receptors for the carb molecules to not have to be backed up in which they aren't clogging anything because your not ingesting as many carbs. The increase in exercise is suppose to convert fats and carbs into muscle so it wont close the important arteries as it is converting it to muscle. The apple cider vinegar is supposed to be useful as it is an acid that will break down the carb and lipid molecules so the lack of receptors don't have to run out of energy converting all the molecules themselves. This research takes previous research a step further in observing which has the greatest impact, the conclusion was an increase in exercise as it had the lowest spikes in sugar levels 2 hours after every meal.
