Abstract

Desmosomes are complex protein structures that function in connecting cells together. Desmoglein2 and desmocollin2 are two desmosomal proteins that latch together like velcro. Absence or malfunctions of these proteins are known to play a role in metastatic cancer and cardiac diseases. The aim of this research is to study the effect of these proteins on three varieties of epidermal cancer cell line on 50 varieties of migratory proteins.
