Abstract
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) accounts for fifty percent of all primary brain tumors. The median survival rate of GBM is ten to twelve months. Current treatments for involve apoptotic cells death, which GBM is becoming resistant to. At Clemson University, our lab analyzed the effects of an experimental, non-apoptotic drug called Vacquinol-1 (V1) on GBM.
