This session will highlight a grant project funded by the United Way of Greenville County. A team of Furman students, alumni, and professors from different departments worked together to conduct a needs and assets assessment of 10 neighborhoods in Greenville in order to inform the United Way on how to fund future community-based projects. The results of this assessment will be presented, along with the innovative interdisciplinary model that is representative of The Furman Advantage.
