Description
A five minute, forty four second audio recording created by Furman students from the COM-95 class describing Cliffs Cottage, Southern Living Magazine's first sustainable showcase home located on the Furman campus. The home is LEED–registered Platinum, and is a model of environmentally responsible design, building techniques, materials and energy-saving systems. Ed Marshall, Furman's Director of Special Projects, and Furman's President, David Shi, speak about the cottage and its purpose, as well as Furman's organic garden located near the cottage.
