Chief Justice Taney has administered the oath of office to President Van Buren, Harrison, Polk, Taylor, Fillmore, Pierce, and Buchanan. -- Yes, he has done all this, and delivered one of the most atrocious law opinions that has ever disgraced the history of the courts of civilized nations.
