The News by Telegraph shows that the Minions of slavery and the Border Ruffians are doing their own work, both in Kansas and at Washington! The dastardly and perhaps murderous attack on Senator Sumner is on a par with their whole course. How long will the people of the Free States tamely submit to such outrages? How long will men permit themselves to be used by mere force of party discipline, to sustain such outrages? -- and all that a few mean men, who claim to be leaders of the democratic party, may secure to themselves offices and political power!
The crisis is rapidly approaching!
