Description / Abstract

The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Oversight Committee at Furman is seeking an ACS faculty development grant to enable us to sponsor a Queer Theory and Sexuality Studies Seminar at Furman. The purpose of this seminar would be twofold: first, to help WGS faculty incorporate these analytical frameworks into their respective course offerings and second, to prepare a core of interested faculty to teach the recently approved WGS course. This seminar will include 5 reading syllabi over the course of five different months between March 1st and August 15th 2011.
