Description
The Sub-Librarians joined The Tropical Deerstalkers for drinks and dinner at the Sheraton River House. Edna Buchanan, Pulitzer Prize-winning Miami Herald reporter and author, was the featured speaker. Buchanan talked about her newest book, Miami It's Murder, a plot featuring bad cops, a serial rapist, and a politician with a dark past. She also included personal remarks to ALA members.
The story Dancing Men was discussed.
Eve Titus, author of the Basil of Baker Street books also joined the gathering and signed books.p
