At the 16th (Irregular) Annual Meeting, library personnel from all over the United States met at KeensRestaurant with representatives of several local societies, including the Adventuresses of Sherlock Holmes, the Montague Street Lodgers of Brooklyn and The Three Garridebs. The program included toasts, Sherlockian door prizes, a reading of the poem "221B" by Vincent Starrett, and a presentation by Andrew J. Peck, editor of "The Commonplace Book," discussing his experiences as a collector of Sherlockiania. Local arrangements thanks to Paula J. Perry, ASH.
